July 31, 2008 - The use of a hanging pocket-style shoe bag in a BOV is excellent
for storing gloves, scarves, caps, or other miscellaneous items needed in your

best drivers. Don't be caught unprepared! The Auto Accident Kit has a safety

accident and the scene while they're fresh in your mind. JP
July 29, 2008 - It isn't a good idea to keep batteries in all of your bug out
bag devices. They have a way of leaking insides the item and getting
corrosion all over from the acid. Instead keep the batteries in a separate
container along with a battery tester which costs less than $10. JP
July 29, 2008 - I like to tape the batteries to the Bug out device since I always remove
them to keep from ruining the device. DP
July 29, 2008 - Don’t just buy items and toss them into your bug out bags.
Un-package them and install the batteries to make sure that they are functional.
After which you can remove the batteries as mentioned above. RM
