March 16, 2009 - "Administration open to taxing health benefits" Proposal problematic for Obama as he denounced similar one in campaign. The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president could support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for overhauling the health care system. The proposal is politically problematic for President Obama, however, since it is similar to one he denounced in the presidential campaign as “the largest middle-class tax increase in history.” Most Americans with insurance get it from their employers, and taxing workers for the benefit is opposed by union leaders and some businesses. March 14, 2009 - "Obama's Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth". It is simply wrong for commentators to continue to focus on President Barack Obama's high levels of popularity, and to conclude that these are indicative of high levels of public confidence in the work of his administration. Indeed, a detailed look at recent survey data shows that the opposite is most likely true. The American people are coming to express increasingly significant doubts about his initiatives, and most likely support a different agenda and different policies from those that the Obama administration has advanced. March 8, 2009 - "Obama: US should reach out to Taliban moderates" President Barack Obama says he hopes U.S. troops can identify moderate elements of the Taliban and move them toward reconciliation. I am so much glad that I can honestly say "I didn't vote for him". Click here

March 3, 2009 - "Obama kicks up White House entertaining"  The White House is the place to be on Wednesdays.. Since the presidency changed hands less than six weeks ago, a burst of entertaining has taken hold of the iconic, white-columned home of America's head of state. Much of it comes on Wednesdays. my take on this is one of two things. first he is making a mockery of the white house or perhaps he's getting the senators and congressmen tanked up so he can use something on them to pass his insane bills. Emboldened by President Barack Obama's announcement he will close the Guantanamo facility housing suspected terrorists, one of the most notorious leftist terrorists of the 1970s and 1980s has written the president, asking him for help in finding a "former comrade-in-arms" missing for 14 years, and closing his letter with "Allahu akbar! ... yours in revolution." February 6, 2009 - "Charges dropped in USS Cole terror trial" Man accused in 2000 bombing; So more and more we see where Mr. Obama's loyalties lie. Its seems like everything he is doing is in support of the Muslims. Obama to meet with victims' families. The Pentagon's senior judge overseeing terror trials at Guantanamo Bay dropped charges Thursday against an al-Qaida suspect in the 2000 USS Cole bombing, upholding President Barak Obama's order to freeze military tribunals there. The charges against suspected al-Qaida bomber Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri marked the last active Guantanamo war crimes case. Click here

February 4, 2009 - "President Obama to water down 'Buy American' plan after EU trade war threat" Well now we can see just how dedicated Mr. Obama really is. The European Union warned the US yesterday against plunging the world into depression by adopting a planned “Buy American” policy, intensifying fears of a trade war.  He has basically backed out from supporting the American worker in fear from the EU. February 3, 2009 - "Obama's ethics reform promise faces early test" President tries to reconcile ideals of electioneering with actual governing. During almost two years on the campaign trail, Barack Obama vowed to slay the demons of Washington, bar lobbyists from his administration and usher in what he would later call in his Inaugural Address a “new era of responsibility.” What he did not talk much about were the asterisks.
