June 5, 2020 - "The Three Sisters Garden." This past week my wife and I spent some time talking about possibility of planting some three sisters gardens in the field. We spent some time at the Sussex County Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden located behind the Carvel Center in Georgetown. Within the confines of this exceptionally serene and tranquil garden can be found what is known as a “Three Sisters Garden”. Read more June 5, 2020 - "How to grow your sweet potatoes." A friend just supplied me with twenty-five sweet potato slips. The total cost of my investment came to $3.75 or fifteen cents each. The 25 slips will ultimately produce approximately two bushels of sweet potatoes, so that amounts to an inexpensive investment.
